The R3 hooded wetsuit it is the Bentleys of all wetsuits. The best in 20 years of waveriding, for me anyway. The wool is magic. The suit, it fits like a glove, its warm and comfortable. The wool lined hood is super snug. In the areas that are constantly moving and especially inside the hood, I am warm as toast. I even come out of the water warmer than I go in. However one recommendation would be a warmer bum panel. I get a cold arse with only 3mm of protection from the elements. Your backside, backs of legs and lower back are out of the water whilst paddling and just get carried around and in this suit get cold. If that was a 5mm or even 4mm panel then I am sure that the suit would be totally toasty and all but unimprovable.
