long time ago, in a Yorkshire town not so far away, a man called
Obi Wan Povey established an alliance of surfers in the form of
a surfboard and lifestyle shop and in 1989 Secretspot was founded...
Secretspot's aim was to look after the local Scarborough surfers
and skaters in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere while providing
them with all the equipment and guidance for their lifestyle choice... |

Since
then, things have moved on and Secretspot has grown in size and
reputation. At the same time as providing a quality service to all
our customers from all walks of life and all over the world, we
still stay true to our roots in surf, skate and snow.
All of our staff 'do' at least one of these sports and so have an
excellent knowledge and established relations with long standing
customers, whilst also welcoming all that don't know us... Hi!!!
