Morning folks, we are certainly going to see plenty of surf over the next week or so. However we can expect a fair amount of cold onshore winds from either the ENE or NE. Currently 2-3ft from the NE with moderate ENE winds and forcast to build over the next few days. We will see a fairly localised wind swell from the ENE for the start of the week which will quickly be replaced over Tues afternoon and evening with a much futher travelled NE swell which should hit the coast with a good 3-4ft of swell. Later through Wednesday strong ENE winds from the top of a low pressure in the med will send more swell our way and build futher towards the end of the week where Thur / Fri should see solid 4ft + surf with moderate onshore winds. This swell and wind combination will then remain for the weekend as the swell hight drops a little the winds remain and swing more cross shore giving a little more protection at the sheltered bays...There does'nt seem to be much chance of any offshores over the next week, but as ever early and late sessions should see cleaner conditions, make use of the webcam for an up to the minute report and make use of any sheltered surf or reductions in the wind strength... Our new consignment of Robies have just landed so get yours while stocks last!!
All times are GMT except Mar 27 - Oct 29 wich are British Summer Time This Surf Forcast is for scarborough area covering North Bay, South Bay and Cyton Bay. The predictions shown are based on a westerly wind being offshore.
