The 3D RED TIP goes over flat spots and flies off the top and the bottom. You’ll feel a bit more squirt and glide as you make big sweeping turns. The 3D REDTIP was designed by John Harris from the Gold Coast of Australia. It’s a thruster center fin and it works great on both short and long boards and everything in between.
3 time Masters world champ Gary Elkerton has been testing the 3D RED TIP from Kirra to Sunset. “It’s got heaps of drive and is a bit more stable at high speed.”When you look at the 3D RED TIP it looks like it will lift the tail but it just keeps you on a nice even plane over flat spots, hollow sections, floaters, whatever. You’ll feel more squirt through the second half of your turns and incredibly solid and fast when banking off the whitewater. The 3D RED TIP will give you more control on the back of the lip to help do the longest floaters you’ve ever done.

In the surf:
The 3D is a great fin to use on small days to help you glide past the flat sections as your board feels like it is on rails. On bigger days the added stability and control it gives you at high speed give you more confidence off the bottom and top and also getting around big sections.

Surfers that like drive, control and mega amounts of down the line speed
