Nike 6.0 is a sub-brand of gear and athletic shoes created specifically for action sports. Some examples of these action sports include skateboarding, snowboarding, skiing, BMX bicycling and surfing.
The entire Nike 6.0 collection includes T-shirts, shoes, backpacks and duffel bags for men, women and children. Designs are colorful and include the famous Nike swoosh with 6.0 written below. In 2010, Nike 6.0 launched its first winter collection of outerwear to the global market.
Similar to its other lines, Nike uses athlete endorsements to help propel the status of Nike 6.0. For instance, the company signed 15-year-old surfing prodigy Kolohe Andino to promote the surfing line. Andino is a nine-time national champion and a four-time winner of the Surfing America USA Championship.
