Welcome everybody,we thought we'd just give you a little insight into whats happening here at secretspot on this fine day.I have currently been agonising over which of the Firewire surfboards to order for our delivery which should hit us end of April/early May.
Old Nev is showing no signs of slowing down and is still churning out the same faithful shapes that we all know and love such as Dominators, Alternator,Sweet Potato, Hellfire, Addvance and El Fuego.However a whole load of new shapes are about to hit the Uk once this shipment has landed in 2012.
The new Michael Bourez Pro signature model is looking sick and this high performance shortboard should prove real popular with our european friends and customers.We also have in the new Dominator 2 or as its officially called the Activator.We have ordered this board in both FST and rapidfire construction right through from 5'2" to 6'10" for all surfing abilities.Because we are based in Scarborough on the east coast of England this shape has been real popular for east coast surfers who have to wear just that bit more rubber to keep warm,thus requiring extra foam during the winters.
Perhaps the board which has had the most press about has been the Potatonator which we are carrying in both Fst and Rapidfire.This is the result of an illegitiamate cross breeding of a sweet potato and the Dominator and this should be ridden 4-6" longer than a sweet potato but 2" shorter than your Dominator but we reckon this will be our most popular board of the summer.
We also have the TJ Pro coming in with the new construction and this is sure to be super popular,we can't guarantee you'll surf like him,but this board should help you get more out of your sessions.The TJ Everyday is also a slightly longer version at 9'4" and comes with a slightly thicker foil to help out with everyday surfing.
